Another big music streaming service arrives in the U.S.  I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear.    With its purchase of Muve, a music service that was built into the Cricket phone service….Deezer gains a foothold in the U.S. market.   Deezer will be the new streaming service for Cricket…which is owned these days by AT&T.    Deezer is already in 180 countries….with 16 million active monthly users.    Chief Marketing Officer Beth Murphy…

“Muve music customers will be able to transfer their existing music libraries to the Deezer app.   And all new and existing Cricket customers can enjoy Deezer for an extended trial period and purchase Deezer for six dollars a month which includes all taxes and fees.”

Deezer plans to become more widely available in the U.S. later this year and is providing HD audio on Sonos home music systems already.   You can find us at BootCamp.com.   I’m Fred Fishkin.
