The importance of social networks.   I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear.     If you weren’t convinced before, this month’s Super Bowl commercials showed once again, just how deeply social networks are woven into the fabric of our lives.   The verdicts on those expensive ads were in….even before game delivered its surprise conclusion...thanks to social networks.   At the digital marketing agency Prime Visibility, David Neuman says…

“There certainly were some winners and there certainly were ones that didn’t resonate as well with the social media audience.   When you look at some of the winners, Budweiser, for the second year in a row was definitely one of the better commercials we saw, with their best buds.  And then if you look at more of the negative side, with the Nationwide commercial, which had the kid on there who died…it wasn’t really one that resonated well with the social media audience. That really generated a lot of response.”
