Bringing more functionality to flashlights. I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear. A company called Bayco is taking flashlights to new levels. Like many companies, they are using LEDs instead of bulbs. But what sets the company’s new Nightstick models apart are the use of aircraft grade aluminum in some models…and says Marketing manager Russell Hoppe…
“What we’re bringing to the table is a new kind of concept which is dual light. Dual light is the mixture of a flashlight and a floodlight in one product. The benefit, obviously being, yes, it is great to be able to see things at a distance, but not always do I need to see something 180 yards away, I’m looking at something right in front of me. And so having that floodlight is a nice kind of accessory.”
The lights can be controlled independently. Some models have built in magnets and rechargeable batteries as well. You can find more info on the full line up at BaycoProducts.com. You can find us at BootCamp.com.
