Misfit Wearables flashy new capabilities.   I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear.   With its sleek look and never need a charge replaceable battery,  the Misfit Shine has won a lot of fans.   And the company’s newer Misfit Flash…priced at 50 dollars delivers the same capabilities in a tough plastic casing….in a variety of colors.   In fact, says CEO Sonny Vu…it adds a brand new function….with the ability to control a new smart LED bult called Bolt…

“If you have to whip out your smartphone, turn on the app to log in and then control your smart lightbulb that way or smart devices that way, that’s not that interesting.  You might as well just use your light switch, right?  But how about just pressing a button that you’re wearing right now.  Pressing your Flash to turn on the lights.  Much easier.”
