More tax prep goes mobile.   I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear.    Intuit continues to evolve the leading tax preparation software….TurboTax.  This year’s edition is designed for easier navigation overall, along with assistance in reporting your health care insurance status.    And, says VP Bob Meighan, while it used to be that only the simplest returns could be filed from TurboTax mobile apps, that isn’t the case any more….

“That’s correct.   And with a change, it’s now complete, you have complete flexibility and control over any type of return.  And one of the advantages of the data structure that we have or the ability to move your data file around is that you can start, stop or complete, as I mentioned, on any device now.  So you’re not constrained to one device.”
