“One of the kind of sad things about today’s e-commerce environment is you can’t really walk into your local camera store anymore and try out every lens and every camera that you’d be interested in purchasing and these are huge investments for a lot of people. It’s hard for people to want to take a risk based on an anonymous review of a lens on a Web site and invest two, three thousand dollars. So we wanted to give them a platform where they could not only try it from us like they were before, but if they like the one we sent them, if they don’t mind the dings on the barrel and everything like that, to give them a great price.”
The service and selection are impressive. You can find us with archives, interviews and more at BootCamp.com. I’m Fred Fishkin.
