LeapFrog gives a jump to early childhood reading. I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear. It’s hard to believe, but LeapFrog is celebrating its 20th anniversary of using technology to help little ones learn, with what it calls the 20/20 Reading Challenge. It’s a partnership with Olympic champion Kristi Yamaguchi’s Always Dream foundation. LeapFrog’s Director of Learning Jody LeVos….
“So the 20/20 Reading Challenge is all about families pledging to read to their kids just 20 minutes a day. And when they pledge to do that, LeapFrog will donate 20 books to Kristi Yamaguchi’s Always Dream Foundation.”
How can families participate…
“They can go to LeapFrog.com/challenge. It’s a really simple pledge form. They just fill that out. And when they do that, they are pledging to read 20 minutes a day and LeapFrog will donate 20 books to the foundation.”
Which inspires underserved children through innovative reading programs. You can find us at BootCamp.com. I’m Fred Fishkin.
