T-Mobile continues its push to win customers. I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear. T-Mobile has gained millions of subscribers over the last two years with its no contract Un-Carrier moves. Now it is wooing small business customers with cheaper and more simple plans….and for consumers…CEO John Legere says..he is adding new incentives…up to 650 dollars to leave your old carrier…and T-Mobile’s promotional rates…he says…are now permanent. The goal, he says, is pretty straight forward…
“My goal is to become the number one wireless company in the United States. End. Stop. And my bigger goal is to totally change and transform the way wireless is done in the United States, full stop.” How long do you think it will take you? “It’s going pretty well so far.”
That said, T-Mobile has a long way to go to catch the likes of Verizon and AT&T. But its aggressive pricing and improving network are giving the competition reason to worry. You can find us at BootCamp.com. I’m Fred Fishkin.
