A mountable, waterproof action cam designed for kids. I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear. VTech…the folks who created a smart watch for toddlers last year…is at it again. This time they are coming out with the Kidizoom Action Cam. Marketing Director Jennifer Eiselein….
“The cool thing about this is it’s a kid’s action cam, think like the adult version of the GoPro, but it comes with all the accessories you need for active filming. It’s got a bike mount, a flat mount for your helmet or your skateboard and a waterproof case so you can film underwater, pool, beach. Anything you need to film active play on the go.”
Don’t expect GoPro quality from the Kidizoom. But its ease of operation and 60 dollar price tag make it a good choice for kids. It even has a few built in games…along with a color LCD screen and rechargeable battery. It should be available early summer…just in time for vacation season. You can find us at BootCamp.com.
