Apple shakes up the music industry again. I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear. Apple’s new streaming music service is launching at the end of this month on Apple devices…..but Apple Music isn’t stopping there. Surprise, surprise…the service will also be available on Android and Windows in the fall. The service will cost 10 dollars a month….but for five dollars more a family of six can subscribe…with individuals having their own accounts with their own library and recommendations. By the way, Apple is offering the first three months for free. At Apple World Wide Developer Conference, CEO Tim Cook…
“You know music connects with us all at a deep emotional level. We couldn’t be happier to launch Apple Music. And we can’t wait until you start listening to it at the end of the month.
Apple says the service will give new artists a chance to be heard even more easily. For Apple…it is yet another way to earn money. You can find us at BootCamp.com. I’m Fred Fishkin.
