T-Mobile looks to lure travelers and more with what it calls Mobile Without Borders.   I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear.   In another move designed to shake up the mobile industry, T-Mobile CEO John Legere has essentially eliminated the U.S. borders to the north and south….

“We’re just making Canada and Mexico part of your home territory.  This isn’t about giving you roaming, it’s about not needing roaming.  So calling, texting, your LTE bucket, it’s going to be the same in Mexico and Canada as it is in the U.S..  And the extra cost from a Simple Choice plan …any guesses….nothing.  Nothing.  If you sign up for Simple Choice,  you get this.”
