Paying with your phone.   Samsung gets ready to jump into the game.   I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear.   Apple has Apple Pay, now Google has Android Pay.   And Samsung is preparing to launch Samsung Pay in its Galaxy S6 and Note 5 phones.   Through technology Samsung acquired in its purchase of LoopPay…it is promising better security and wider acceptance than its rivals.   Samsung Pay GM Will Graylin….

“What’s unique about Samsung Pay is its ability to basically take your cards, let you load it and have you use it just about anywhere you can swipe a card.  So that’s a vast departure and difference between any other mobile wallet solution that’s been out there since.  Because older technology leverages what’s called NFC.   If you only rely on NFC you’re going to find a fraction of the places that accept it.”
