An impressive Android watch from Huawei. I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear. Huawei has joined the parade of smart watch makers and with a solid, luxurious design, right down to the packaging, there’s plenty to be impressed with. It runs the latest version of Android Wear, has a circular face with an AMOLED display and connects via Bluetooth or WiFi. Product Marketing Manager Nick Badger…
“We’re running a lot of powerful processors, so we’re doing a Snapdragon 400, it’s 1.2 gigahertz, a 300 milliamp hour battery, it’s the only Android Wear device with a sapphire crystal display. And it’s the highest resolution display of any Android Wear device to date with 400 by 400 pixels.”
The sapphire crystal display protects it from getting scratched or scuffed. The quality doesn’t come cheap though…with pricing starting at about 350 dollars. A heart rate sensor is built in…an almost standard feature these days….and there are apps galore in the GooglePlay store. You can find us at BootCamp.com. I’m Fred Fishkin.
