A little tech to help with Halloween. I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear. Don’t look now….but geeks will be in fashion this Halloween….with the arrival of the new Star Wars movie on the way. I checked YouTube for videos on how to make a Star Wars costume….and it returned something like 237 thousand results. And just wait until you see the array of Star Wars toys arriving for the holidays.
Back on the Halloween front, home automation gear using motion sensors to control lights and such can help you say Boo! In a geeky way. And cameras can help to keep eye on the front door. And finally….when the kids are out trick or treating after dark…no ordinary flashlight will do. Nightstick makes a dual flash and flood light that can illuminate both the ground and what’s up ahead at the same time…using LED bulbs. You can find it for under 11 dollars.
You can find us with a full archive of reports and interviews at BootCamp.com. I’m Fred Fishkin.
