The hot gifts for the holidays… lots of tech. I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear. The Consumer Technology Association is forecasting that tech buying will reach 34 billion dollars this holiday season. The association’s Jim Barry says two thirds of those questioned in an annual survey said they were going to buy tech as a gifts…
“And one third said they were going to buy one of these emerging tech category products. Things like drones and fitness wrist bands, smart watches and action camcorders. But on the overall list of what people say they want for a tech gift this year, TVs are at the top of the list for the first time in over ten years, followed by tablets, smartphones, notebook computers and videogame consoles.”
