LG’s impressive V10. I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear. There are lots of great new phones on the market this holiday season. Apple fans are finding plenty to like in the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus….but there are already rumors swirling about the iPhone 7. At LG, the new flagship is the V10. What do I like about it? First of all…the overall quality feel with a textured curved back supporting a 5.7 inch screen and a secondary 2.1 inch display. The idea is…the second screen stays on to give you the time and other alerts…so you don’t have to turn on the main display to check those things. On the camera side….LG has taken note of the importance of selfies these days….and has put two front facing cameras on the phone. One standard and the other with an ultra wide angle lens for group shots. There’s a fingerprint sensor on the back for security….and I was happy to see LG still including a removable battery and micro SD memory card slot. You can find us at BootCamp.com. I’m Fred Fishkin.
