A connected white board built for sharing. I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear. Lots of folks are working from home these days or work for companies that have employees scattered in different locations. Smart Technologies is making it easy for them…or even for families in some instances to work on a white board…and be able to share. Chief Technology Officer Warren Barkley says the SmartKapp, which sells for under a thousand dollars, uses standard dry erase markers, and can let others with tablets, smartphones or computers share….
“If you’re remote, away from a meeting, or remote away from your family and you’re wanting to draw something up together, you can do that basically, remotely. And basically, saving is the last thing. You can save the different images that you’re doing and your thoughts and the progression of thought onto your mobile device.”
Set up is easy. On the higher end side, the company also makes a connected white board built into a big screen 4K TV. You can find us at BootCamp.com. I’m Fred Fishkin.
