Our gear of the year…part two.   I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear.   2015 brought lots of impressive tech into our hands.     Some of it on our wrists.   While the Apple Watch garnered lots of headlines, there was plenty of innovation elsewhere too.  TomTom’s new Spark fitness band can even store music and connect to Bluetooth headphones so you can workout without your phone.   Some of the latest Android Wear devices like the Huawei watch, are pretty classy too.   When it comes to breakthroughs in digital photography, Samsung is an upstart with its NX1 delivering performance that has many rivals playing catch up.  GoPro continues to lead when it comes to wearable cameras with its Hero 4 models.  But others aren’t far behind.   For music lovers, Plantronics BackBeat Sense Bluetooth headphones sound very good, are comfortable and affordable.  What else was cooking?   The GoSun Solar Grill shows what can be done…with only the sun.   You can find us at BootCamp.com.   I’m Fred Fishkin.
