Turning Pac-Man into a fitness game.   I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear.      A company called Moff has created a wearable slap on band for kids that allows them to make sounds and play games on phones and tablets through movement.    And now the company has partnered with the makers of Pac-Man to bring the iconic game to life.   Moff USA CEO Albert Chu…

“Playing this Pac-Man powered by Moff app you are basically directing the little Pac-Man chasing after ghosts and eating cookies.  And so instead of just a video game like the classic game was, it’s added a new dimension of physical activity.  And it’s a lot of fun because now people are moving around and you really feel like you’re inside the game.”

It runs on a battery…which lasts about 20 hours.   You can find the Moff Band …spelled M O F F…for about 55 dollars.  The Pac-Man game will arrive this spring.   You can find us at BootCamp.com.   I’m Fred Fishkin.
