Boogie Board's new eWriters for kids

Boogie Board’s new eWriters for kids.   I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear.    Boogie Board electronic writing tablets from Kent Displays have carved out a little niche for themselves by allowing people to use them to quickly take notes, or jot down a shopping list, and then erase the page at the press of a button.   With two new products coming this year, the company is focusing on kids.  Design Director Hunter Morris says they are the Scribble n Play and the Jot 4.5 featuring Clearview…

“You can see what you’re writing on it but also see what’s behind it.  So it comes with 22 flash cards, anything from letters  to simple math equations.  The other great product we’re launching at the same time is called Scribble n Play featuring Color Burst Display.  So it’s an eWriter, it’s something you can write and practice letters on or draw and doodle, that kind of thing.  It’s also just a fun, creative tool.”
