It’s tax time again.   The new features in TurboTax.   I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear.   The folks at Intuit are always adding something new from year to year in their best selling tax preparation software.    This year, the focus seems to be on support.    There’s a helpful Explain Why feature.  And, says,  VP Bob Meighan there’s a feature called Smart Look….

“And it basically brings one on one support to your phone or to your tablet.  It allows you to connect with one of our TurboTax experts.  It’s using one way video so you as the customer can see our expert but we can’t see you.  But the really neat benefit of this is that we’re able to guide you through your return because we can actually sort of draw and we can highlight the areas that you need to see or need to navigate to.”
