The latest Bluetooth speaker design from Ultimate Ears.    I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear.     Ultimate Ears has won lots of fans for its UE Boom cylinder shaped Bluetooth speakers.    Besides great sound and features that are upgraded on a regular basis, there has been a lot of focus on design.    Now it has partnered with graffiti artist Nikolaus Nychos on the limited edition Rabbit Eye Movement UE Boom 2 speakers.    GM Rory Dooley…

“We design the product with this specially printed acoustic skin.  The fabric that goes around the product, it’s not just there to be life proof, water proof and resist the elements.   It also allows us to play with it as a canvas.  It’s literally like a canvas.  We work with artists, we give them this blank canvas, and we say what would you design on it, what’s the art form you would like on it?”
