A company called TikTeck…spelled t I k t e c k…is out with the first in a planned series of smarthome gadgets with a focus on making them more affordable. It is an LED light bulb that you c an control from a smart phone. You can turn it on and off, control the brightness and even the color. You don’t need an added hub. Founder Rex Chen says a telepresence robot is also in the works for this year….
“Which enables consumers to, enable one person to interact with another person, kind of face to face even if they are not in the same location. And also this robot can be used for home security, can be used on babysitting, older person caring type of scenario.”
