Using your phone as a key.   I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear.   There are a number of door locks on the market that let you control them from anywhere with your smart phone.   Today, we’re talking about different kinds of keyless locks.   Australia based Dog & Bone is on the market with padlocks that you open and close with a smartphone.   Co-founder Maria Ranchod says there are several models starting with the standard LockSmart….

“An eight millimeter thick shackle and is a very tough, heavy duty lock.  And also the LockSmart Mini, which is a lifestyle portable option with a seven millimeter shackle.  They’re both weatherproof.  And we also have another lock that we are currently completing and getting ready to release which is the LockSmart Travel which will be for suitcases and luggage.”

The designs are impressive and the locks run on long lasting rechargeable batteries.   There’s more at Dogandbonecases.com.   You can find us at BootCamp.com.  I’m Fred Fishkin.
