Airline reviews land at TripAdvisor.   I’m Fred Fishkin with BootCamp, your Techstination for gadgets and gear.    Right in the midst of the busy summer travel season, TripAdvisor is giving its millions of users a valuable new tool…the ability to review airlines….right down to specific routes and flights.    TripAdvisor’s Brian Hoyt says …just like with hotels and restaurants and other destination attractions… consumer opinions can be very helpful….

“What’s so exciting about that is that this is the first time in the history of travel where airlines are really able to help differentiate themselves beyond the price that you might see in your typical flight search when you’re looking for an opportunity to go from point A to point B.   And the reality is airlines are very different from one another today.   The amenities are different on flights.  The types of planes are different.  The seats are different.”
