When it comes to phones… Lenovo is really making it big.   I’m Fred Fishkin with BootCamp, your Techstination for gadgets and gear.    If you think the Galaxy Note and iPhone 6s Plus  are about as big as you’d want a phone to be….make room…if you can…for the Phab 2 Pro from Lenovo.   It is a behemoth with a 6.4 inch screen arriving this fall.   And the company’s Kelly Corrigan says what it can do is pretty special….being the first device capable of running Google Tango…putting a new spin on augmented reality…

“So what it is is a combination of software and hardware …that work together that allow this device to map out an area and then know where it is within that area.  So you can kind of think of AR digital information laid over a real world perspective.  So with this, you’re going to be able to do a lot of cool AR effects.”
