Live streaming from Rio and everywhere else.   I’m Fred Fishkin with BootCamp, your Techstination for gadgets and gear.   Lots of folks have been giving live streaming a try.   Facebook makes it simple to do with your smartphone.    But a company called LiveU has been making it possible to stream broadcast quality video….from the Olympics in Rio and many other venues.    Marketing Director Claudia Barbiero says LiveU merges cellular and WiFi signals in a portable package that fits in a backpack to make it possible…

“Broadcasters of all sizes have invested a lot in getting their teams down there and they want to be able to bring that behind the scenes or feeling of being live and right there in Rio home to their audiences.  So we’ve got a large variety of equipment for broadcasters of all sizes in use.”
