Bringing 3D printing to more consumers.     I’m Fred Fishkin with BootCamp, your Techstination for gadgets and gear.    XYZprinting is out with a 3D printer, designed for ease of use, that sells for under 300 dollars.   The da Vinci Mini lets you create objects up to 5.9 inches tall, wide and deep and is easily portable.  Marketing Specialist Ash Marin….

“It has WiFi connectivity so you can connect from anywhere in your local area network.  It has auto calibration.   So you just press the little button and it hits the nine points on the print bed and makes sure it is leveled correctly.  It has an aluminum print bed and it’s non-heated so if kids reach in they won’t get burned.   And also it helps with heat diffusion so the sample that’s already on the print bed is cooling off so by the time it’s done you can just take it right off the bed.”

Features that make it safer as well.   You can design your own creations or use one of the thousands of free 3D models available from XYZ’s 3D Gallery.    You can find us at BootCamp.com.   I’m Fred Fishkin.
