“The all new Echo Show pairs everything you love about me with a screen.  You can watch video flash briefings in YouTube,  or see music lyrics, photos, weather forecasts and more.”

Quite a bit more.  It works with a growing list home security or even baby cameras.  And can be used to video conference or, when set to automatically answer, as a device to check on children, pets or even seniors living alone.   That so called Drop In feature could be worrisome but you do have the choice to turn it off.   The built in speakers sound good, but you can still connect to external Bluetooth speakers if you choose to.   With the Echo Show, Amazon is raising the bar yet again.   And when you are shopping, you knew this was coming, Amazon can now show you the goods.   The price?  About 230 dollars.
