Samsung's The Frame screens arrive merging TV with art

Techstination feature for Thursday, July 20, 2017

Techstination, your destination for gadgets and gear.   I’m Fred Fishkin.      Samsung’s new The Frame is a big screen for your home…that can double as a fine art display.    Director of TV Product Marketing Eva Bask…

“The Frame is not anymore a big, black rectangular screen in your living room while you entertain.   In the meantime, now, you can use the art mode and it’s more like an art piece and then with the flip of a remote control, it becomes a 4K HDR TV.”

There are optional frame like bezels…including walnut shades of real wood…and some included art to display along with the ability to subscribe to more.   Pricing starts at about two thousand dollars for the 55 inch model.   The 65 inch model is price at about 28 hundred dollars.  Pretty cool stuff.
