Google makes searching for jobs easier

Techstination feature for Friday, July 28, 2017

Techstination, your destination for gadgets and gear.   I’m Fred Fishkin.   If you’re in the job market, one of the places you can now turn to is none other than Google.   The tech giant has launched new search features designed to help job seekers.   Google Product Manager Nick Zakrasek…

“You can come to Google, enter in any kind of job search, for example, jobs near me, entry level jobs, jobs in health care, whatever happens to match your interests.  And the new feature we’re announcing is the ability for Google to go out, find all the job postings from across the Web, pulling from sites like Monster, Linked In, Career Builder, Glass Door as well as tens of thousands of company career Web pages.  And then we organize and rank all that content just for you so that you can explore and filter down to exactly the jobs relevant for you. “

It’s as easy as searching for movie listings.   Or maybe you want a job in that movie theatre.
