Techstination, your destination for gadgets and gear.   I’m Fred Fishkin.    More retro gaming is on the horizon.    The folks at AtGames have announced the Atari Flashback 8 Gold and the Sega Genesis Flashback….both pre-loaded with dozens of old favorite games.   Product Manager Yada Khoongumjorn says the new consoles feature HD video…

“The Atari Flashback 8 Gold has a brand new Activision library.  This year, they’re bundled with 120 games and these games include Activision titles such as Pitfall, Konami titles such as Frogger, as well as the great Atari first party titles such as Centipede and Taito titles as well such as Space Invaders.”

It’s a fun way to take video game loving kids on a trip back to the 80s.    The consoles, available for pre-order…are priced at about 80 dollars.
