Techstination, your destination for gadgets and gear.   I’m Fred Fishkin.    Drop everything!   But please, not that new iPhone X.    The folks at SquareTrade….who provide protection plans for all kids of consumer electronics…including phones….are out with a report on the iPhone X.   What they test is vulnerability to drops and breakage.   And VP Jason Siciliano says the news isn’t really very good…

“This was actually the most breakable iPhone we’ve ever tested.  And when you combine that with the most expensive iPhone ever to come out and the most expensive to repair,  that combination is …it’s a little bit of a risk to consumers.”

But….there’s no doubt the iPhone X is a great device.  The advice from Square Trade is to invest in a good protective case….and consider a protection plan too.
