Techstination, your destination for gadgets and gear.   I’m Fred Fishkin.    With Call of Duty: WWII and  Destiny 2, Activision has chalked up the number one and number two selling console games in America this year, based on revenue.     In fact the latest Call of Duty has earned more than a billion dollars worldwide since its launch in the fall.      The games kept their base of veteran players while attracting many more with gameplay and graphics that take full advantage of the newest consoles from Microsoft …with the Xbox One X….and Sony’s PS4 Pro.   In the meantime,  Nintendo’s Switch console, which transforms into a portable game machine, has been in hot demand all year long,   Switch sales have now topped ten million since the launch in March.    And games like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe have helped to keep the excitement going.
