PogoTec puts wearable cameras on any eyewear

Techstination, your destination for gadgets and gear.   I’m Fred Fishkin.     A camera that sees what you see.    A company called PogoTec has created the PogoCam…a smartly designed camera that attaches magnetically to eyewear and allows you to capture still images or video with the press of a button.   It kind of makes you look like you’re wearing Google Glasses….but without that display screen out front. Here…the camera can connect to smartphones for transferring images.   A case doubles as a recharger and provides added memory storage.   About the engineering challenges, CEO Brendan Sheil says…

“We still maintain the weight of less than two dimes, so you don’t get any tilting or anything with the camera.  You still get great optimization and stabilization which allows for fantastic photography in a whole new way.”

The PogoCam sells for about 150 dollars.   You can get more info at PogoTec.com.
