Techstination, your destination for gadgets and gear.   I’m Fred Fishkin.   Wilson Electronics is a name that dates back to the days of CB radios.   Today…the company is still helping drivers stay connected…using technology to boost cell phone signals.   The latest is a cradle called Drive Sleek.   Chief Product Officer Jeff Gudewicz says it includes a small magnetic mounted antenna that goes outside the car…

“It captures every available cell signal from every carrier and operator that happens to be in the air.  It brings that signal into a very small case that contains all the signal amplification.  And then through a small coax connector, it transmits that signal up into a cradle.   And it holds any phone size, even with all the different cases and things that are out there.”

It can help you stay connected in areas where signals are weak.   Drive Sleek sells for about two hundred dollars.
