Techstination, your destination for gadgets and gear. I’m Fred Fishkin. Vtech’s LeapFrog brand continues to make engaging educational toys for kids. At this year’s Toy Fair…the company unveiled LeapStart 3D…which will add a 3D like display to the platform of books and games for kids two through seven. VP Jennifer Eiselein…
“It’s a great activity based learning system, but now we’re adding animations into that so you are really getting visual reinforcement along with the activity books. And it’s a great way for kids who may be more visual learners to really engage with the content in a deeper way.”
And the line will also be adding more content. The LeapStart 3D is slated to arrive in the fall for about fifty dollars. Vtech has lots more on the way too…including the Kidi Star Karaoke Machine…complete with lighting effects and audience applause. The price there too is under fifty dollars.
