Start-up money for artistic Web entrepreneurs. I'm Fred Fishkin with Bloomberg Bootcamp. It's a brand noted for its creative advertising. And in the hopes of inspiring more creativity... Absolut Vodka has opened up this year's competition for grants that will help to launch business concepts that marry art and technology. Absolut's Diana Tedesco says two winners will be awarded fifty thousand dollars apiece... .

"Their ideas can be anything from art appreciation... they can be using technology as an artistic medium, they can be creating communities... .really the sky's the limit. It can be something that the judges or everyone else in the world has never seen. They will be judged, and they will keep that in mind, on how unique their idea is, on how well it marries art and technology, as well as its financial sustainability. They'll have to prove that and show how their model, once they receive the fifty thousand dollars, can grow."

Why focus on art and technology?

"There's no question that in the art world, it's bringing dramatic possibilities in terms of the kinds of ways of distributing art, of talking about art, of bringing people together, organizing information. There are lots and lots of ways that have already been thought of and we hope we'll bring out some new creative talent."
