Techstination, your destination for gadgets and gear. I’m Fred Fishkin. There’s a new addition coming to the Surface line from Microsoft. The Surface Go….with a starting price of 399 dollars will arrive next month and is designed to take on Apple’s iPad. While it doesn’t have the horsepower of the Surface Pro, which we’ve been impressed with from the start….the design, while smaller, is similar….and you can add a keyboard and pen…priced at 99 dollars each. The processor is an Intel Pentium Gold 4415Y….designed to give users enough power for the basics…while providing battery life of up to nine hours. One key advantage of the Surface Go is the ability to run the Miicrosoft Office suite of applications. It will be WiFi only initially…with LTE versions to come later. There’s more at Microsoft.com.
