Techstination, your destination for gadgets and gear.   I’m Fred Fishkin.       Little robots that are big on personality seem to be a tech trend of late.    There’s Jibo…for the home that recognizes people in the household…converses and entertains.    And a company called LocoRobo has created a little three inch tall AI robot for kids called My Loopy.    Founder Pramod Abichandani says the key here is that it does not require the use of an app…

“It’s great to have these robotic toys but when a toy requires essentially another device to control it then the entire experience become diluted and kids get removed from the physicality of the robot.”
