Techstination, your destination for gadgets and gear.   I’m Fred Fishkin.    If you’re a    Nintendo Switch fan….you know one of the great things about it is its portability.     But battery life can be an issue.   That’s where Anker Innovations is stepping in with new PowerCore Plus batteries with Power Delivery.    Anker’s Tyler Mallory says they were developed along with the folks from Nintendo…

“In our labs and theirs, we made these power delivery batteries optimal for the Nintendo Switch.  So the two models we have on the table right now…that one is 13 thousand milliamp hours, this one’s 20 thousand.   So it adds roughly eight hours of extra play time and fifteen hours of extra play time respectively.”

Really hope you don’t need more game time than that.  The higher end model…just out…is priced at about 90 dollars.  Of course…the batteries can also be used…with their USB C connectivity to charge notebooks and mobile devices.  Find more info at Anker.com.
