Software tools for photographers...Excire and Luminar

Techstination, your destination for gadgets and gear.   I’m Fred Fishkin.         If you take a lot of pictures and are getting a little more serious about photography, there are some new software tools you should know about.   The folks at Excire have a plug in for Adobe Lightroom that uses artificial intelligence to analyze all of your images to help you find the ones you’re looking for in a hurry with easy descriptions.  It’s spelled Excire.       Another updated tool that makes working with photos fun and easy…is Luminar from Skylum Software.      President Scott Bourne says it is more of Photoshop alternative…and you can opt to use built in filters..

“And our most popular filter is called Accent AI.  You just drag a slider from left to right and as you do it magic elves make the picture better.   It’s pretty crazy.   So many people have contacted me to say that’s all they need for their pictures is Accent AI.”

Luminar is available for Windows and Macs.
