Techstination, your destination for gadgets and gear.   I’m Fred Fishkin.       It wasn’t so very long ago when if you wanted a special recipe for that upcoming Thanksgiving dinner…you’d call up grandma….or maybe an old friend.   These days…it is more likely that that old friend is named Google.    Google Technologist LaToya Drake says the holiday searching for recipes and even gifts has begun…

“Certainly the trends that we are starting to see right now are questions that people are asking around getting ready for Thanksgiving.   How do you prepare that meal.   Perhaps figure out some new recipes that you want to put on the table and easily do that whether you’re in your kitchen, getting ready to prepare them in advance or in the middle of preparing the meal.   We’re seeing a lot of interest around preparation right now.”

And of course shoppers are starting to look for upcoming Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals as well.
