The Consumer Technology Association is out with its annual survey of what people are planning to buy for the holiday season when it comes to tech and gadgets. The CTA’s Danielle Cassagnol says at the top of the list…in a tie….are smart phones and TVs. Also on the list are Bluetooth speakers, game consoles and laptops, media streaming devices and smartwatches. And while nearly all of us plan to shop at physical stores…online shops aren’t far behind….and…

“Using your voice enabled digital assistant like Amazon Echo or Google Home or even Siri on your phone and asking them about products that you’re researching and then placing orders directly that way also.”

Amazon has even used Alexa to offer special voice only deals.
