Techstination, your destination for gadgets and gear.   I’m Fred Fishkin.      I’ve been testing a device designed to smarten up your car from a company called KlashWerks.    Raven plugs into your vehicle’s OBD II port,  gives you a heads up turn by turn navigation display….as well as forward and rear facing  cameras.   There are important safety features…that can alert parents for instance if a young driver is speeding or braking hard…with the ability to remotely monitor the cameras. Trip information can be shared too.  With a sim card installed Raven can also act as an LTE hot spot.    CEO Russell Ure says it also provides constant security..

“When you park your car and you leave it, Raven’s security system is online,  you’ll get informed if anyone moves the car, touches the car.”
