Techstination, your destination for gadgets and gear.   I’m Fred Fishkin.      News Hero aims to become a different type of online source for news.   Founder Benji Rogers says from his view…all too often the people who are the heroes in news stories aren’t given the coverage deserved.     The stories on the site, says Rogers,  come from a range of sources…

“So we will have a newsroom, an editor in chief, writers and machine learning algorithms as well, but the goal is to effectively build a journalistic ecosystem that direct links out to the sources that we have taken from so that you can always know where that source came from.   And we can give those journalists,  photographers, editors, etcetera,  credit and more importantly money.”

News Hero has been raising funds and measuring interest for the platform on Kickstarter.   Stay tuned.
