“There is a game for everyone and that’s what really fueled the expansion of our industry. Right now there are just as many people playing video games who are over fifty as there are under eighteen. The average age is thirty three and forty six percent of gamers are women. So we really are a microcosm of our country and how it plays and works together.”
And the ESA says its survey found 73 percent of parents believe games are beneficial to educational development of their children. My take…it really depends on the games being played.
