Microsoft has seen explosive growth in the number of people using its Teams software to communicate and collaborate in the midst of the Covid-19 outbreak. And some new features arrived this month to make Teams even better….including a feature that can suppress background noise during virtual meetings. During an online briefing, the software greatly reduced the sound of a rustling bag of chips..for instance. For many workers at home now…perhaps it can also help the background sound of kids and pets. Microsoft also now allows Teams to be used as a phone service for smaller businesses.
