“ The idea was to make them ultra compact so they fit in the ear because obviously if you’re using them when you’re sleeping pillow comfort is a big concern.  They’re truly designed only as a active noise cancelling device.  So there’s no Bluetooth, you don’t need a smartphone to use them.”
