Designing a better way to collect honey: Flow Hive 2

Techstination feature for Monday, June 22, 2020

Techstination, your destination for gadgets and gear.   I’m Fred Fishkin.      The Australian father and son team that created the Flow Hive….has been at it again…creating lots of buzz around a new line called Flow Hive 2.    CEO Cedar Anderson…says it improves on the original idea to be able to harvest honey by turning a spigot and disturbing bees as little as possible..

“From the ground up we put little legs so they’re adjustable so you can get your hive on a perfect angle..and then we’ve got a pest management tray that slides in and out to help people manage beetles and mites and things like that.  And then we went the next level with just the knobs and things by turning them into nice brass fixtures.”

There are added windows and locks too.   You can learn more about the latest in bee keeping tech at www.honeyflow.com. And they do ship to the U.S. and Canada.
